The Volta Center – in the heart of the development area City West – is located between the Voltastraße in the north and the Franklinstraße in the south. The Volta Center is an office and apartment complex with top-quality interiors and a three-storey underground garage.
The complex consists of four buildings: the apartment building with 60 apartments and three office buildings. The main entrances to the office buildings with two-storey high entrance halls are on the Franklinstraße. In the interior of the Volta Center, impressive green spaces and water features create a park-like atmosphere. A water cascade with underwater illumination, bridges and wooden decks forms the focal point of the outdoor area design.
Different façade structures with staggered balconies and a glass curtain wall on the Voltastraße side counterpoint the more austere, horizontally divided cubes of the eight-storey office building. The two-storey pedestal is panelled with homogenous grey natural stone.
