The project is located at the Baur group location in Altenkunststadt and has a total gross area of about 35.000 m². It consists of 3 interconnecting buildings – one central block and two adjacent high-bay warehouses.
The warehouses will be equipped with a high-tech, fully automated shuttle system, the central block will be used for accepting, commissioning, and shipping goods.
The building shells of both warehouses will be completed by November 2022, enabling early access to install the high-bay storage technology. The start-up of the new fully automated shuttle system is scheduled for July 2023 – the completion of the project will be in April 2024.
